| Bio: | Gerard Aurel, born in Lille, France. Son to Anne-Sophie and Daniel Aurel, a muggle-born witch (magical creatures department of the French Ministry) and a muggle (phone communications engineer). Started attending Beauxbatons at the normal age or 11, but a few months after that was the victim of the first case of violence on the school grounds in decades. (Three boys and a girl were tricked into drinking an incorrectly prepared potion which resulted in temporary dementia; Gerard happened to cross their path, unfortunately.) After weeks of recovery from the injuries, his parents flatly refused to let him back at the school; having the choice between Durmstrang and Hogwarts, Anne-Sophie insisted on the closer school. He showed up at Hogwarts in March of his first year, after having spent the last four weeks studying English as much as he could around his recovery. He's the same year as Alya, Cordy, Brando, and Leo; was sorted into Hufflepuff. He adopted the name Garry before the year was out. He plays the guitar and sings well; is absolutely open for almost anything - as long as it doesn't involve actual violence, even verbal. If in an argument, he's prone to fold onto himself really fast an just walk away; if there is an actual fight, he will almost surely call for the help of a professor. House: Hufflepuff Wand: 9 and 1/4 inches, ebony, unicorn hair Best subjects: Care of Magical Creatures, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology Worst subjects: Arithmancy, Muggle Studies (because he doesn't care to actually STUDY it), Transfiguration (he's working on that still) --- Garry is an OC set into the Harry Potter 'verse.
